- Dallas Bears formed in 1993 as a social club for bearmen and their admirers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. We host a variety of events and gatherings each month such from potlucks and 'bear eats' (invading local restaurants) to movies, swim parties, and other entertaining outings. Texas Bear Round Up or TBRU an event for bears and the men that love ‘em! Held in Dallas, Texas, TBRU provides all of you who consider yourselves bears or bear admirers an opportunity to get together and make new friendships, renew old ones and have one helluva great time each and every Spring! This year, the theme is Game On, a sports theme! (Don’t forget your sports gear!) During the weekend, you’ll enjoy all kinds of games, food, and fun around Dallas. (Last confirmed date was 03/25/04 through 03/28/04. Future dates for this event have not been provided.)
